TANGRAM POW: Using the tangram shapes create the following shapes and then find the areas and perimeters of each. You may need to use your books or other sources to find the formulas for areas!
Use all 7 pieces to make a square, a rectangle, a parallelogram, a triangle...either an acute triangle or a right triangle. Be sure to show the pieces accurately.
For extra credit:
Finally use the seven pieces to make a nice bird picture. Use construction paper to display your bird, coloring in a nice background.
