Math Ideas and Resources abound on the internet.  The following list in Microsoft Word contain a wonderful group to try out!
Using the Math resource link above, click on the  World Climate link to find a year list of the average temperatures.

Using the mean average data given, construct a double line graph showing the possible highs and lows that would have resulted in the averages given. Plot the highs in one color and the lows in another (red /blue for example)

Make sure that your highs and lows are compatible with what you know about the climate in that area.  You may reasearch further on the average temperatures in an area using the Internet.

Answer the questions.

What did you do to arrive at the highs and the lows?

If another group were to construct the same graph, based upon the same mean averages, would you expect that their graph look exactly like yours?  Why or why not?

This data uses the averages until 1970.   Would you expect these averages to have changed in the last 30 or so years?  Why or why not?  Investigate to find out, using the Internet.
